Rio, hailing from Sète in the south of France, developed a fascination for disco music at a young age. Renowned as a producer, DJ, and label owner, Rio has become one of the leading figures in the House music industry with his deep passion for the craft.

It was in the 90s, with the discovery of House music, that Rio first found himself behind the decks. His journey led him to cross paths with DJs Brown Sugar and Niko De Luka, with whom he co-founded Suka Records in 2008.

In 2012, Rio joined the internationally renowned HOUSESSESION music group based in Stuttgart, Germany. That same year, he created his own label, VAMOS MUSIC. Signing iconic artists like Robbie Rivera, Ron Carroll, Cece Peniston, Federico Scavo, Robin S, Peter Gelderblom, and Antoine Clamaran, the label quickly gained prominence, with regular releases making waves on Beatport.

In parallel, Rio has actively promoted his music through his own radio show, the Vamos Radio Show, which is broadcast internationally, including on IBIZA RADIO ONE. Recently, Rio expanded his reach with two sub-labels: CHECK IN RECORDINGS for the underground scene, and VAMOS TALENTS, which serves as a launchpad for emerging artists.

As an artist, Rio's productions have earned support from legends like DJ Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight, and David Guetta. His unique fusion of Latin music and disco saw his hit track En El Mar released on Bob Sinclar's Yellow Productions / Africanism, alongside releases on prominent industry labels like Urbana Recordings (David Penn), Stealth, Pacha, Subliminal, and the powerhouse Toolroom.

As an international DJ, Rio's sets range from Deep House and House to Tech House, with a touch of tribal influences. A regular member of the Ibiza World Club Tour and a brand ambassador for Baccanali Ibiza, Rio has performed across the globe, including at iconic venues like La Divina in London and the sun-soaked Bora Bora Beach in Ibiza. His performances have solidified him as a mainstay in the global dance scene.

A talented producer, Rio released his debut album, LIVE 4 2 DAY, in 2015 on HOUSESSESION. He followed it up with All About Us (2016) and We Are All The Same, both released on his own label VAMOS MUSIC. With his consistently strong productions, Rio frequently finds himself in the Beatport Top 100, including his notable track “Yo Me Voy”, a collaboration with DJ Kone & Marc Palacios, which flirted with the Top 10.

Today, Rio continues to explore the South American flavors, blending tribal and tech house sounds in his latest collaboration with Colombian producer DJ Wady. With an ear finely tuned to the current trends, Rio launched MARIN MUSIC in the summer of 2020 in collaboration with French label KAA PRODUCTION, focusing on streaming platforms.
